Actually I think sex on a first date is best...gets it out of the way for one thing...and let's face it...if you're not compatible in the bedroom...chances are you won't be outside of the bedroom either...now I can only speak for myself here...but of all the women I've had sex with...the ones who I had sex with on the first date...have lasted longer than all the others...serious relationship wise...

Well, I can't say the same...as the best sex I ever had was with an ex of mine...who I was a total fool to let go of her. And here it is 15 years later, and I still can kick myself in the ass for doing that... 
However, I must admit...there was this one 1-night stand...who'd I'd say was the 2nd best ever...the next morning wasn't all that damn bad either!

Well...I guess I'll have to take your word for it...
However, I can only talk of what I've experienced...and the best sex I ever had was with Heather...
2nd date rule? Damn, never had one...don't know anything about them... 
I remember when Richard Pryor once said in his comedy act...
There are only two pieces of ass in your lifetime that you'll remember and that are important...your first, and your last...all the others in between are nothing but practice.

Depends on the couple.For some people,it works out great, others are uncomfortable.It depends on the people involved.Having said that,I don't believe anyone should feel pressured to have sex when they aren't ready and likewise no games should be played,especially those where sex is supposed to be a reward or withholding sex is supposed to be punishment.Who needs those ridiculous games.

Strangely, seems that of all the relationships I've had, the ones that I had sex on the first date or fairly close to it have lasted the longest time. I'm sure that says something about me, and the women I have chosen to pursue.

Sex on the first date? I don't think theirs a definate answer to that question, or should i say it's neither right or wrong.....it all depends on the circumstances and the two individuals involved. I have had sex on a first date several times over the years, some where the hottest, most intense encounters while a few turned out to be a mistake. But i would have to agree with mememe's evaluation regarding the key to great sex is by asking, learning, getting to know what each others wants and needs are, learning the little signs as to how the womans body reacts and most importantly being open and comfortable with one another.Not worring about whats in it for yourself and wanting to give your partner pleasure.....making her get off your highest priority will in the end reap the biggest dividends i've learned...
