We have been in the lifestyle for 8+ years and we have our own rules but they are pretty much the norm we have found to what other couples have also. But the key is communication so that everyone knows ahead of time and the mood isn't broken at a crucial point :)

There are advantages and disadvantages...awkward the next morning when u wake up, not knowing what to say at first, but it's your friend. Then, of course, there is the part that you worry that the two of them might hook up behind your back....and not include you!
