it is a touchy subject !!!!
in the early days in our great country girls of 16 got married and had children ..it was thought if you were 16 and not married there was something wrong...16 yr old girls today are as mature physicaly and mentaly as girls of 18 in the previous years. my mother was 16 when she got married !!!.. I have two daughters and they had sex when they were 16 they inform me..
mother nature is a horny b--tch !!!......wonder how old Eve was ?????

16 is the age of consent in most states.
It is 17 in CO, IL, LA, MO, NE, NY, TX,
It is 18 in AZ, CA, ID, ND, OR, TN, VA, WI, WY
It is 18 for any, but 16 if the age difference is small in DE, FL, UT (depending on state law, it could be anywhere from 5 to 12 years)
In the other 31 states the age is 16.

people say 16 is way to young.
i agree on one term, 16 is way to young for grown up people like us, no mater if theyr body and mentality is formed at that age or almost formed.
a cousin of mine is 17 and hes girlfriend is 16, she had a baby naturaly like most women have at the age of 15, there was no law to punish anyone of them since both are under age.
tho a case of a man who has sexual relation with a girl under 18 or a woman who has sexual relation with a guy under 18 can take a beating from law cos law sees things as in they could been coarsed , thats the diference.
