I pop on here every so often when I get email reminders and find that nothing has changed. Within 40 miles of me there are only 3 users who have been active in under a month. Only one out of about 25 matches has a photo. Sometimes I will mail a few of the matches just to see if the site really works, and I get some automated robot response to visit a website.
Someone needs to do a better job keeping spam out. For all the members this website supposedly have, I haven't talked to one real person since being here. Does anyone ever actually meet? I find it hard to believe.

It's from being 'Punchy', here . . I'm a non-conformist, anyway...!!

Population density seems like a big factor. Some place like NYC or Atlanta or Phoenix, a 40-m radius will yield better opportunities than Juneau or Butte.
Good luck, though! Maybe you could meet someone in an 80 mile radius and convince them to meet you halfway.

i don't know what he's complaining about up here in VT you're lucky to find some one in either in vt or nh that has been on in 3 months, i've learned that i'm gonna have to expand my search and talk to people from all over the place, then you might find someone worth meeting
