Everyone has anniversaries of some sort or another. This summer is one for me. 30 years ago this summer I was married and I had it in my mind to cheat. The whole thing almost happened but was interrupted. Still, confessions had to be made and there were allot of lessons that were learned. So my question (s) is
1) Have you've ever cheated on someone ?
2) If you got caught what did it cost you?
3) Was it worth it?
4) Would you do it again.?
My Answers are;
1) Only once and the actual cheating never took place.
2) In the end it cost me everything.
3) So many things ended up tied to that one night, about the next 20 years so I'd have to say it was worth it in the end.
4) I wouldn't ever want to go through any of that again. So No.

Always been single but have found out "after the fact" that a woman I was with was married which wasn't cool to find out that was for sure

Have never cheated. That has got to be the lowest of lowest feelings for the person cheated on!!

I've had "friends" who seemed to think it was all part of some sort of game. It only took 1 time for me to understand who I am and know that it wasn't anything I could ever clear my head about.

once,due to a dreadful mis-understanding I almost did,but it was interupted before anything actually happened.it left me with the most awful feelings imaginable.we did manage to talk things out and both agreed to work harder on our relationship and only play together...

always thought cheating was simply a character flaw or is it lack of character
It could be a lack of self, the need to feel that someone wants you.
It does happen allot and with some, as it was with me, I believe it was a momentary lack or reason. Personally it took allot to discover that what I thought I was lacking where I was couldn't be found somewhere else. I had to grow to find what I lacked. Some look inside I believe and find their answers and can set themselves on a better path. Others think it's all just a game.

i was married for 42 yrs and yes the last year of my marriage i didn't cheat i just left him and moved in with my boyfriend and yes then i cheated .i've been with my boyfriend now for 10 months and divorced for 5 months now and yes it made we lose my adult children and grandkids for doing what i did.i think my kids should under stand because the 3 that were married did the same thing but i get shamed for doing that to their dad so what about them.
