Hard to tell. I'm leaning more in favor of Barack Obama, though. I think he'd make a great president, and a very strong leader. I don't agree with everything he says, but I don't agree with everything anyone says, for that matter. IMO, though, he's the best choice.

Is the question here who will be the next president, or who should be the next president?
Before the campaigning really started, I war-gamed the feild as it was then, and decided that McCain was the most likely canidate to win (assuming, and this is a HUGE assumption, that there were no surprises (like Hart's Monkey Business, etc)). So far, he has yet to really seperate from the muddled Republican pack (but his wins in NH and SC are making me feel a lot better about that prediction). Currently, it looks like Obama is obvious answer to the question, but I don't know how he'll do in a general election when the Republican fixers turn their focus on his lack of record.
As for who should be president. I like the feild better than most people seem to. If Mitt wins, I'll move to Europe, or at least Canada. I wouldn't look forward to Sen. Clinton going back to the White House, either. I think Gov. Richardson got a bum rap, he probably would have my favorite but he's gone now. I'm still undecided, but I really need to go out and switch my registration to Republican so I can vote against Mitt (probably for McCain) in the primary on Super-Duper Tuesday.

Great question, and after some reflection, I realize that there isn't one in the bunch that would be a great leader. Funny how so many are spending so much to secure a job that pays $400,000 a year. Come-on, you might as well face it, not ONE of these bozo's have the countries best interests in mind. They are in it for the personal glory, ego or reasons unrelated to bring this country back to it's former glory. In a country this size, with this many well educated people, these clowns are the BEST we can come up with? Maybe Lewis Black is right. Give me sa shovel I want to go dig up Ronald Reagan.
That or find me a canidate that will CLOSE the borders (north and South) and defend our way of life, by cutting our dependency to foriegn countries. Someone with vision, who can clearly see a future without fossil fuels, Who knows how to get tough when needed, and who doesn't change his mind with a shift in the political winds. Ends social programs, declaresracial equality achieved and dismantles quotas for races. Throws the tax system out for a single flat rate that everyone pays REGARDLESS of thier circumstance or "exception."
Whew! Hey what am I doing on this box of soap? How did I get here? Where's my drinK? Waitress!!!

Actually I don't have a problem with the canadians.. But the illegals from MANY other countries enter through the northern borders. An undercover news team recently documented this posing as refugees from Armenia. They were led into the US and transported via Van once they crossed the border to a major city (Cincinatti) to take a bus to the heartland of the USA.
Ok you may think this sounds paranoid, (eh?) but not every country or ethnic group worldwide holds the US in the highest esteem, and those that want to do harm have very little to fear being caught entering this country, through any unprotected border. I want a leader who will at least acknoledge the threat.

I am more inclined to vote for who I see as the best candidate rather than a party choice. I dont like any of the dems. Every one of them will raise taxes give hand-outs to the fine citizens who just do not want to work or to the baby making women who want to do just that....make babies. Its a generational thing. I did like Fred Thompson but it looks like he is done. His economic background is much the same as Reagan. I think we need that. I do hope Hillary get the dem nomination. I think she is the most beatable and represents the same old shit. Who knows, maybe she will have a young guy under her desk. I wouldnt put anything past the Clintons.

Sounds like a bit of parania there rev. A blow job for a married man whether he is president or not tells allot about that person. That and all the lies he told regarding the blow jobs (several I think) and the lies he tells on a day to day basis tell me the clintons should be living in a trailor park.....not the White House. Its uninformed people like you who make our country unsafe from terrorism. Do you really think GW spies on everyone with a phone? If you do, then there is a rubber room waiting for you somewhere. I think the economy and national security will get the repubs back in office the next general election. Its people like you who refuse to look at the big picture that will vote for the leftist marxist and communist democrats. If they had a candidate that I agreed with on any issues I would vote for one. But they do not. I do not care about abortion but I am against gay marraige. I think we need to grow our military to protect us and our allies in the world and I think main stream america agrees with me.

Northwoods...don't forget that the "baby-making women" have to first be impregnated by the "noncondom wearing, 'I don't care if I create a new life or not, cuz all I'm thinking 'bout is 'gettin' mine' and to hell with paying child support' baby-making baby daddies."
I don't think there is anything wrong with social programs, because there are people who need them who are unable to contribute. What is needed is strict compliance with those programs and a watchful eye against fraud.
Ever see Michael Moore's "Sicko?" Very interesting and informative movie. Of course, I was told by one very Republican member of my very Republican family that all the people in the movie were "liars." Typical defense.

Well, at least you watch Fox News. Its a step in the right direction for you. I agree about the non-condom wearing men and they should be held accountable for their actions and pay child support. It wouldnt have happened if the woman didnt spread her legs first. Most will not and thats why we have a need for some of the social programs. I didnt go to your link so what do you mean about lying? I wouldnt waste my time watching anything that Moore puts out. He is just a tool for the rich left wing wackos (George Soros). So, I cannot speak of the show you mention. I will tell you he should stay in Canada where he is from. You see this movie as informative because you share his views and are probably left wing as well. Thats cool. It takes all kinds of people to make up a great country like ours. I see the left wingers as pandering to the poor and illegal for votes because most working middle class people will not vote for them. Thats why they put up such a fight against a voter ID, which we definately should have.
