Hey, it's general chat here. 
Anyone else in to yo-yos and trying your damnedest to get the stupid thing to do the tricks you want, only to have a busted knuckle or two for your efforts?
Or...are you one of those who laughs at us while keeping two yo-yos going around the world for infinity?
Either way...I needs help. 
I just got a Duncan Speed Beetle and the stupid thing just will NOT stall at all, it seems. Granted, I know it's more for looping tricks but it should still be able to stall, right? Or am I too impatient for the friction stickers to get broken in so I can actually do a few amateur but half-decent tricks?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's a lost art today because it doesn't have batteries. I can do some simple tricks but my Dad could do all kinds of tricks with one. Maybe the reason it's a knuckle buster is because it actually doubled as a weapon originally.
