No kiddin,, the world is gettin smaller, I went today and broke a colt for a gal that lives near here. She was usin a curved bit on him and he was kinda soft mouthed and he didn't like that shit at all... changed to a straight bit on him, and he turned into another horse... go figger

we used to ride horses bareback when we were kids.
we got given one old nag who hadn't been rode for something like ten yrs and some genuis said lead it into a dam and slide on its back,horses can't buck in water....lying bastards,i damn near drown that day when that horse exploded

Hey RR, my ole nag lives 2500 miles away from me, (no Sully, not my wife) back at my old homeplace in Tn,,,, but my daddy in law has a couple he keeps here, that we take care of and I can ride them whenever I want... I'm with you about trail riding, there are miles and miles of trails on the Nisqually river that we ride on.
The horse my friend has that I broke for her yesterday was 1/2 Arabian, and half horse,,he was a lil headstrong, but we worked thru that.. Matter of fact I heard from her earlier today and she had taken him for a ride to the river just after daylight and said he was a real sweetheart now
