 I did send an email to the site Admin about the three threads that disappeared and have been informed that they were not deleted but it appears that someone may have tried to move them and did not do it correctly and got the "hung" in limbo. I asked if they could merge the old and new thread and if not asked if they could restore the old and delete the new as the original one had more pages and history. I have not received an answer back to my last email.
And just to be in compliance count me as a "yea" to the petition vote.

I hate to point out the obvious,but if anyone had the power to move/delete threads it would have to be someone from this management,no normal member would be able to access those area's.
once again its a matter of 'its not our fault,its someone else's" 
I don't even think it bothers them anymore the amount of members that have cancelled their profiles and gone elsewhere.what does that say about here ?
count me in,but I can't see it making any differance if they don't really care about their members at the end of the day or aren't really interested if they keep their members or not.

*ok,on a more serious note, canu is actually quoting that straight out of their rules and regulations,I have actually seen it before and had numerous dis-agreements and arguements about that very rule.
my point with rev.lovedoc before he gave up and left here was ; every single thread posted on this site is an on-going chat as soon as someone post's a reply.
what they want,and expect us to do is send endless messages back and forth to each other in mail conversations instead of like this thread here is like,which is not only pointless,but down right ridiculous...
hey canu,..now flash that rule up will ya about no-one being allowed to bag out the owners and managers of this site or get immediately booted off.that ones nearly as big a joke . 
oh ,and for the record,I think canu might just be everyones scapegoat,he tried to help de-fuse a lot of the crap and only ended up having crap hung on him for his efforts and no I ain't even his friend so there's nuthin in it for me by saying so.

I agree with you tassie.. I'm still new here but I watched a LOT of stuff being said..and I didnt see CanU saying crap but I sure remember seeing some awdfully nasty crap coming out of someone's else's profile.

19) Don't bash this site or the moderators here. This is a free site. If you don't like the way things are handled, you can kindly make us aware of your problem, or you are free to leave.
They're not saying they'll boot you...just that if someone doesn't like the way things are done they can leave.
Like Nawti said, the rules here are pretty standard for most message boards...the difference here is that the admin tends to overlook alot unless there are blatant violations and/or numerous complaints...and once they start checking into complaints/violations...they tend to sweep thru and address all violations by either deleting or locking threads. I've seen several of my favorite threads either go away or get locked because someone from the site thought they were violating one rule or another...all you can do is start a new thread...

Does anyone have something they'd like to come right out and say to me? No really... these constant innuendos, insinuations and snide cheap shots are annoying!
swyeter's explanation is there and abouts on par with the one I got... something weird happened during the last round of Oooops (when the IT guys were working on the code)
I'm about sick of being blamed every time one of you dim dicks delete your blogs... and then report it as I did it.... (yeah thats a hoot)
I'm about sick of getting blamed for shit beyond my control... or reading some insipid little remark from someone who probably has to copy/paste the word "bump" about a certain "two people" who are responsible.
Two guys here tugged my shirt sleeve I'm sorry they did so on a day when I was especially pensive... but my friggin gods some of you are idiots...
I've had more threads deleted, locked, moved etc since I've been here then I care to think about... more blogs and posts deleted for no good reason than even the great clique leader had..... I'm not whining and throwing a fit.. know why?
This is THEIR site they allocate their space as they chose.
In your travels searching for your favorite threads after I upended them... I can't believe nobody thought to look HERE
Some of you have how many posts and never read the rules?
Now you can go on listening to the fountain of misinformation all you want... but some of you should think about what you are saying before you say it....

I'm amazed at how many people complain about something that's free. What; it's not enough to have a profile, can post pics, search and browse, email, wink, blog, comment, and start forum threads...for free? Now they need to have say over how the site is run?
I'd just like to see rules more uniformly applied - however strictly or leniently it's done. My blog was deleted in a matter of days while other blogs by others that blatantly violated rules were allowed to stand for weeks...and in one case nearly a year and a half. That's just wrong.
