we be planting veggies over the last cple of weeks
last few yrs we're had plagues of starlings ( birds) show up every springtime and strip everything bare in a week or two so I gave away keeping a garden going. this I beat them suckers , I spent a month building a huge kick-ass bird cage outside thats 12 ft square, dumb-ass neighbour kept asking, builing a bird cage huge and all I'd keep saying was, something like that ....... then I planted all my new veggies sedlings inside and locked the door so even the kids can't get in there to them drown the ground in snail pellets and Bobs ya uncle
so far so bumpin good, even looking at quackin up another one for even more veggies. gotta luv meat and three veg and if you grown 'em yourself you at least know whats been sprayed on them these days

gotta try green tomatoe pickles doc spread some on toast
*psst, if you want to taste real carrots, when you cook them, only wash them, and 'top n tail them' don't scrape the skin off them, I bet you never peel another carrot again, the differance is unbelievable

we have all sorts of combinations for mashed 'taters.
milk and butter is pretty much standard. or use mayo instead. another one is using grated mozerella cheese or chopped parsley and chives just what-ever you feel like throwing in the pot
