Sylvan69 Posts: 479	Okay, who likes hockey? I grew up playing hockey and this is a hockey town and region. The Sabres beat both Florida team this weekend. And it also looks like its going to be an exciting season. What team do you route for? Do you go to any games?

In_a_Frenzy Posts: 512	I like hockey - I don't follow a particular team. I went to a couple games last season - Lightning lost both times - but it was a fun night out. Growing up on LI - the Islanders were everyone's team in the early 80's and the Stanley Cup was displayed at our Jr High School once.

I was just in Rockville Center visiting relatives last month and I didnt realize how close that was to where the Islanders play. Its a long wait for me til thursday when the Sabres play the Boston Bruins. Gotta love those rivalry games!
