we did go somewhere else spunks ...home.
its a long week-end over here for anzac day,so most other places would have already been booked out. 
*read above lonesome ^^
so if ever a ny of our friends are coming to Tasmania,my advice is,dont bother staying at stanley lakeside spa cottages. ! go somewhere else and only deal with the actual owners,not some online booking agent with their head up their ass!

Ouch...that sucks Tassie! I had an experience similar to yours when I booked a trip to Ireland/Scotland once...and I also dealt with the online booking agent..I get over there to the hotel....and they didnt have a booking for me anywhere in their register. I had to find another place to stay. You cant trust anyone these days!

thanks Rescue , at least we got a break from the kids if nothin else, but the two eldest ones are home now, the baby comes home tomorrow

yer not wrong sexy V ,it doesn't pay to trust anyone you don't know these days,it usually comes back to bite ya on the ass one way or another.I even ended up with a stalker once who ended up doing google searches and all on me,some ppl really need to get a life and stop taking things so seriously.
