Leaves here are 70% gone.......Lake Erie still very warm. Nasty lake effect snow storm is only a matter of time now!!!!!!

have been through a lake effect snow...that was a mind-blowing mess...snow coming at you---sideways!!!!

Beautiful day here. 70's, sunshine. Just finished round #2 with the leaves on the ground. Lawn is all cleared. Another week or two with some wind and round #3 will be the last of dealing with leaves. They'll all be off the trees.
I cant believe that tomorrow is november.

MM, snow coming at you sideways is a blizzard. 
Lake Effect Snow, is snow developed by the combination of a warm lake that is not frozen and air drifting across the lake that is much colder. Lake Effect snow flakes are much larger than a typical snow flake and most of the time fall almost totally vertical unless there is some wind.
Check out this page. It shows a dopler of what it looks like. It also just happens to be exactly where I live.

Yeah, got you, Sylvan.....
Had flown into Cleveland, and was driving by Lake Erie....
ALOT of wind had the snow blasting across the interstate---sideways
All of the announcers on the radio commented on the lake effect snow...was a trip for a Southern boy.....
