I am still alive although after today's heat I would not swear to that. Over 100 here in Fayetteville. The air conditioning was not up to the job so it was in the upper 80s here in the house.

It's been nearly and up to a 100 here several days so far..My room portable AC
with the help of strategically placed fans usually keep it below 87..
I can handle that with low humidity. 
Tass..Would you send me the 'baby' pic ??

supposed to get some really bad weather today/tonite
We are getting it tomorrow and Saturday. They are already warning people here there could be more tornaods when it gets here. Not too worried about it though as we get the same warnings every spring. I know where the basement is and have supplies in case we go for days with no power so I;m good.

had trouble getting out of my backroads yesterday morning . The storms that roll thru took down some massive trees . Limbs all ober a huge one barely miss my garage . Haven't seen this many storms in a while . Crazy weather .

Haven't seen this many storms in a while . Crazy weather .
our summer was more like fall,and now its going into winter its not much differance 
but we did have some un-usual wind storms late last year that caused a lot of tree damage.
least we don't have to live with tornadoes down here

was almost blown off the highway yesterday and it wasn't even the wind...was some chick with TN tags pushed me right off the highway going 70mph

I've been blown driving down the highway a few times  
Actually one time between Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah,
I was pulling a mobile home and a gust of wind broadsided me and blew me across three traffic lanes..Landed on the left sode of the toter, truck, shut the engine down, kicked the windshield out and walked out..Colder'n a witches heart
State cop right behind me saw it happen and estimated the wind gust at 100mph.

The storms hit here today and I swear I saw a big boat go by loaded with animals. Supposed to get more of the same tonight and tomorrow. I knew I did the right thing when I insisted on a house at the top of the little hill. The street may look like a river with rapids but so far it has not come up as far as the house.
