Been a while since I've been on. Hubby finally came home from Korea 7 weeks ago. Now I'm booting him out the door again in 13 days for Afghanistan. Just when I get used to having him home again..sigh.

ya'know,... s'not my place to point out how ya should run your relationship , but doesn't banishing the poor bugger to places like that seem just a lil harsh a punishment just cos he forgets to put the garbage tin out once or twice.

Yea I know it's a bit harsh to banish him to the hell-hole of AStan. But it's really not me! Today they are casing their colors. He leaves in a little over a week. Tonight he starts packing the trunks they take. I'm a bit reflective, a lot sad, and more than a little anxious about this one. It's not like Iraq where they were semi-safe.
I'll try to make it in here more often though. Christmas in Australia? Sounds like Heaven!
