Listening to the radio today they were discussing a new web site that was strictly for singles/Dating. Well it sounded like fun, and I started thinking, Damn we have come a long way. At one time and Boy and Girl were chapperoined and allowed only to sit sid by side during "courting" Early Asian societies practices "pre-arranged marriages where the couples never even had the oppertunity to meet before the big day.
Throughout the 40's, 50's 60's dating was more formal. Free Love in the late 60's and early 70's (just before my time DAMMIT!) brought about a real change in how dating was carried out.
We skip forward to 2007 and now couples lock in and exchange E-mail for 4 minutes to see if they have mutual interests and enough in common to have even a first date. Damn, this is getting pathetic.

So, what about the folks here. Some are looking for a "hook-up" others for the next "Mr. or MRS" . bottom line is many people are spending countless hours and really getting no where. But What if....

What if someone set up a new spot on the forums, and we collectively figured out some rules, then agreed to leave the "room" open once or twice a week for Speed friendships. Think this might work?
Hell we ought to try something, this is all hat and no cattle to date.(Pun intended, don't get your hackles all raised up out there ladies)
