You ripped across the grass with your sled?? With no snow??? Okay, someone is abit too anxious for winter. 
I'm going to have to upload a funny pic. When I was young, our family moved away from the Rez and lived with the white people for a number of years and my Dad missed our old way of life so much that he put his canoe on the back lawn and would go and sit in there on a daily basis.
I used to paddle for him. My Mom took quite a few funny pictures. I even had my lifejacket on. That's how much I got into it. I missed that way of life too and was happy when my Dad bought a 42 foot commercial fishing boat..........and we moved back. Life was good again.
