it's nice while it lasts. depends on how much of a real friend an f-buddy is. As clean as you are, or cautious. But if it's really good, why not a forever thing?

Yes it is nice while it lasts but it really stinks when one just leaves without even saying goodbye. Or if the other person finds someone they want to know and don't say bye. Don't lose the friendship developed over sex  Guess that is why I ain't gonna do it no more. I had a great guy and I knew he was moving but he didn't bother to say bye??? That sucks!

I will admit that I cry over it,but then I stop and remember that there are billions of people in the world to meet than to cry over just one.

I have tried the FB thing a couple of times. First time, the guy was a little mixed up and thought FB meant that I was his whore. Oops! Large misconception on his part.
The second time I went from FB to being in love (he did, too), but then after six months he suddenly couldn't handle love and went back to being FB. I couldn't handle that.
So I don't think I'd try FB again. It just seems to me that some people view FB as an easy way to get laid without having to be in a "relationship" or take responsibility for their own actions. I don't need anything serious. Seeing him once a week is good enough for me. But even that is a "relationship"  that comes with responsibilities- taking responsibility for your own actions.

Yeah I had one too for a while. Turned out to be a bad thing. Her idea of divorce didnt quite match up to how the State of Indiana defined divorce.

My take on it.
My male friends... I love them dearly. I'm not IN LOVE with any of them but I do love them all. Having sex with one of them and risking EITHER of us developing an attachment that will ruin our friendship.,.. no way.
And sex.. that is.. allowing another human being to place their body parts inside mine... that takes a lot of trust for me. I'm not trusting a stranger like that.
It's a romantic relationship or nothing for me.
I don't F**K my buddies... and I don't do it with people I don't trust.
So no....

Ok,my thing is,that I'm honest with my small circle of male "friends" and I tell them right off that its more than just him.They all know that its a "fuck buddy" situation,yet some do get jealous.If they knew what this was from the get go,why the envy?I care about them all,so why the acrimony? I don't think what I have with another dude is something to be jealous over because I don't have a "favorite" to be honest.Thats probably the only problem in "fuck buddy" arrangements,the eventual jealousy.
