weirdest bridge i ever drove across was a wire rope suspension bridge, not there's a weird feeling that will fuck with ur head
when you look at it, it looks flat, but as you drive onto it and the bridge takes the weight of the vehicle it sags in the middle, so your effectivaly driving downwards slightly into the bridge... but as you get past the half way point , you begin to climb back up off of it and you feel like your fallin back into the river

some of our forestry roads are just slabs of concrete laid on the river bed and you drive through the water to cross the streams.. no problem when there is only 6 -12 inches of water in them unless it rains.. i've seen a full size log skidder get bouyant and start to float off the causeway, that looked funny but the guy driving it didn't think so at the time

I remember one time in Arizona we were setting up a new drilling site and the short way was driving across the river..Made it ok but when it was time to go home the river was too deep and we had to drive 45 miles, the back way, across the desert to get home and to run the rig most of the time it was there.
