we got more floods than fine weather this whole entire summer .
I can't even remember one serious bushfire for the whole entire summer ,not like a few years ago

I drove by a lake here yesterday...and it was pretty much bone dry. About an hour later we were having tornado warnings/watches, showers ..so i'm pretty sure that lake is at least a little wet now

our water tank is half full this afternoon and still filling

Probably is since it comes from the Cape Fear River. LOL Along with who knows what else. It had a nasty taste anyway.

sounds like they've been putting chroline or flouride in the water.
you have to add something else to the water to de-activate it if thats the case cos the same thing happens over here too
