me248...you live in Canada, which is far and beyond hell... true...I'm in the sub pits of hell....and that's where the most fun happens....hot dayum I'm lucky   
does that mean hell freezes over every september...... OMG I hope not  ....cuz that would mean I have a whole lot of crap I have to do that I really don't want to

me248,you hit the nail on the head.The internet is all about knowing people farther away from you.It could be,that your ideal match is halfway around the globe and,on that basis,you have to at least,have an open mind.In my case,i did travel halfway around the globe.But i will say one thing.I always thought that moving countriies,was like moving house.It isn't.You have to be prepared for a whole new life.Everything you knew,stood up for and believed in,MAY have to fall by the wayside.In my case it didn't,because i had other reasons for leaving my past behind.Do i regret it?..No,but ask me if i miss my country,then the answer is yes.But you have to try.You have to find out,because if you don't,you'll always be asking yourself the infamous question...."What if......?"

thank you britcitusa....and welcome by the way  ....you make a good point....I never meant to imply that meeting somebody long distance would be easy....especially to move to another country ....but true love is worth all the changes you need to endure.....I'm very sorry your relationship ended up disolving in the end brit.....but I commend you for giving it a chance to begin with
