I always think it's funny when "veterans" of anything get all smarmy about the "rookies". For God's sake, people, it's a dumb website, you haven't been through a war together....And most of you have never even met.

seems we find more of a mutual respect to those that have been around....and we show that same respect to all weather we've met yet or not .....only thing is everybody expects the same respect...nothing wrong with that is there?

You mean "whether", I think (sorry, but spelling is an obsession of mine).
Of course everyone should be treated with respect. But this forum - the internet - is, in the end, an exchange of words. And part of the fun of words is that they can jab and poke and make you mad and make you laugh....and in the end, nobody really gets hurt. It's just words. It's like when we played cops and robbers as kids - at dinnertime, we all get up and go home to mom. Nobody's really harmed. It's just words, not sticks or stones or 9-millimeter bullets.
Especially now, isn't that something to be happy about?
