Last night I was driving down Hwy 98, coming home from work. I see ahead that traffic has come to to a slow crawl, and I see tow truck lights up ahead. By the time I reached the "accident," I found out that it had been cleared off the road already. The slowdown in traffic was because of all the moronic rubberneckers trying to see something gruesome!

All it take is "one" dumb rubbernecker. And that is usually the case.

Biggest driving pet peeve is when I am driving down the road, there is not a soul behind me, some guy on a side street decides he can't wait for me to pass, so he pulls out in front of me. I have to slow down for the idiot because he couldn't hold his water. Then he goes about a block or so and has to turn so I have to slow down again for the turd that can't wait until I drive by him.

stopping for an ambulance coming thru the intersection and getting rear-ended (This happened tonight - Christmas Eve) When I asked him if he saw me stop for the ambulance - he said yeah but I couldn't stop. So I guess hitting me is the better alternative. Then to top it off - the guy who hit me comes up to me while the officer is writing the report and asks me - what do you have that you hope you never need to use, but you're glad you have it when you need it? I just looked at him and said "What?" he responds: "Insurance" and starts laughing. Ummmmm are you f'ing kidding me???????? No offense to the older crowd here - but I think it's time this 73 y/o gets off the road.

At least the officer was friendly - and gorgeous!

he got a ticket for following too closely - and since here in florida we're still an "at fault" state for another week - his insurance will be responsible 100% - so his insurance will pay my deductible, my repairs and my rental. What sucks is - I only got this car new 6 months ago.

My other accident I was rear-ended at a stop sign - in Florida.

All those years I drove up in NY (long island, Queens, Brooklyn & the City) - never a ticket or accident - so don't tell me NYers can't drive.
