I've had several mails from girls asking me to visit other sites, or contact them on an IM provider. This in itself was supicious to me. I never visited any random sites, and I only once IMed someone. That resulted in them asking for verification of my age via a credit card. Fat chance, like thats not an obvious scam or anything, *block* *delete*
Really, where are the real girls? I'm here to find someone, not to get led on and scammed.

I agree, those scams really lower the amount of people that visit these sites. The administrators need to regulate those people so more real people will come to these sites. The scamers are ruining it for everyone.

I don't reply to anyone that asks me to respond to an alternate email address, and also for me 9 times out of 10 unless I start talking to them they aren't real

I get messages from girls whose profiles indicates that they live somewhere in China, but the message tells me that they are currently living somewhere else(eastern Europe) and want me to contact them at another site.
I usually ask them to send me nude pics, but all they ever send is another message about like the first. Maybe I should ask for something more exciting.

There are "fake" men here to. I'm sick of men wanting my e-mail address. They want to send pics. My essay clearly states "I insist on a pic". These people are after our e-mail addresses for reasons unknown. I have a strong feeling it's not for anything good. God only knows what we'll receive by giving it out. I'm not giving mine to anyone I don't know and trust. Sites like this are loaded with scammers. If in doubt block the person sending the message

Yes, I've only been here a couple of days. The amount of email abuse is ridiculous. It really takes the fun out of things.

Yep, I get those on occassion. I hate 'em too! Asking me to go to another website really sets off the bells, whistles, and red flags in my Skepto'meter.
I just ignore and delete and moveon.org.

 why so many. all i've ever talk to are cons. it was fun at first. coming up was wild and crazy stories. but now it's old. go away cons go away. i usually can tell if it's a con with in the first and 2nd message. it was really fun dicking was a con. just drop subtle hints that you got money. and that story can go on for ever. as you're laughing at the time they are wasting. it's fun. yes i got fucked (and not in a good way) by a con when i was 18. luck me i was poor as hell. (still poor as hell) but "she" broke my heart. so now i just fuck with con, just to piss them off.

I have been contacted at least 6 times on this site by romance scammers.
They have changed some of their tactics so BEWARE!
Read my forum post on what happened to me.
AMD needs to do.....something.
I report ANY scammer here now for all it's worth. 
Hell AMD still hasn't approved my pic....WTF??

I hear you man; its hard to find a site without them asking for a CC!! I just want to meet a decent sexy woman who is looking for the same and cant find a site without producing my CC; as though I am going to do that!!

I am having issues with the male fakes. If I wanted just a quick roll in the hay or to cyber would my profile say I was looking for LTR? and always hey how are you, lets webcam.. really.. blow yourself lol

I definitely agree. I was actually hooked by one of them once too. Told me she was a masseuse and that she would come to my house and give me full service. What's sad is it got me hooked. Luckily I'm out of that now. But not after blowing a bunch of money on something that was never even real. They will use the "help me, I'm forced to do this" card too and try to appeal to your humanity. Don't fall for it.

They are NOT girls they could be any body. I was offered a job doing this and they all have the same script to work from to get you to sign up to a cam site claiming to be the person on the cam. They are not. Don't go there they will take you for as much money as they can.
