I live in a so called haunted house build in 1835. Yes the house makes noises. If I wanted to let my imagination go hog wild pig barn nuts then I could report that yes there is an entity here. If I remain scientific and not afraid of my own hair like on tv then no.
I do retain the belief that time is not true absolute and sometimes images and sound can pass into the future in a distorted manner. This same belief says that nothing can fold into the past. If the future existed for me then the universe and all events have already been written. Smash your head into your keyboard and you know that is not fact and you have choice. So all is not decided. Enjoy your vision of a past entity given these rules it can never interact with you on the molecular level. This would change the future outcome for the apparition and the entire world around you. Haven't heard of that happening much. With this mind I try to touch these anomalies but that just makes them go away. GHA...GHA....GHA....GHOOOOOST give me a break

I am a science major, I am picky about any true evidence or observations as the mind and bad procedure can give false results and conclusions. In the few years that I have been studying the paranormal, I have collected my own personal audio recordings from many sites, where I was alone in which I received highly intelligent answers back to my questions in which I can not explain. Therefore, myself I do believe in paranormal phenomenon or ghosts, however, caution is always needed in any experiment or observation to prove or disprove it's validity. I am pretty much saying, yes I believe in ghosts, but not every claim of them. I run my own domain too and group.

Do I believe in ghosts? No. For the simple reason that there is no scientific evidence for survival of individuals beyond death. I have a scientifically oriented brain and a basic understanding of how the universe and everything in it works. I am highly skeptical of claims to truth such as so-called paranormal activity in general and ghosts in particular.

When one really thinks about it, some questions have to be asked. Namely, what is a “ghost”? A “ghost” is usually defined as a spirit of a deceased person. What is a “spirit”?
A “spirit” is usually defined as a soul of a person. What is a “soul”? The “soul” is usually understood and defined to be the “inner essence” or “energy” of a person, or some such other name. What is an “inner essence” of someone? It is a “ghost”.

Notice how when people usually discuss things paranormal or pseudoscientific that their reason becomes circular. Circular reasoning: round and round we go. Nothing really gets defined or pinned down to even come close to knowing exactly what the hell we are even talking about.

There is an old axiom among skeptics and scientifically minded individuals, and it goes like this: “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.” If someone is going to claim that aliens came down and hijacked his ass and took him to their planet to reveal all the wonders of the universe to him (*cough* Claude Vorlihon, aka “Rael”) then he better damned well present for observation and study a piece of their clothing, an example of their technology, or a sample of their DNA, or better yet, bring his new alien buddy with him to verify that the claim is true. It is not enough to believe simply because one wants to belief or to wish something were true.

It would be nice for me to believe in such things “but I have thoughts”, as Lewis Black says. For instance, the belief that people can either go to a heaven or hell to experience eternal pleasure or eternal pain may either bring great smiles or great fear to some people (and which concept brings which response will vary), but it means nothing once you realize a scientific understanding of how the body works. It only begs this one question: How can a “spirit/ghost/inner essence/energetic force” experience either pain or pleasure once it is divorced from the body? When the nervous system of a body stops sending signals and the brain stops receiving them, there is neither pain nor pleasure. Which brings even more questions: What makes a “soul” a “soul”? What is it composed of? How can it be measured? How can "disembodied spirits" communicate by voice without vocal chords? How can such a "thing" move objects without hands? How can "ghosts" think or remember without a brain? It must be "magic", may be the refrain. Once one realizes that the concept of the soul may be without any merit, belief becomes fleeting.

And also, photos can be faked, especially in this day and age of improving computer graphics technology, photo shop, and the people who are savy with such technology.

So, no, I don’t believe in ghosts.

Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs

HAUNTED HOUSE

I just moved in my new house today

Moving was hard but I got squared away

When bells starting rings and chains rattled loud

I knew I'd moved in a haunted house

Still I made up my mind to stay

Nothing was a-gonna drive me away

When I seen something that give me the creeps

Had one big eye and two big feet

I stood right there and I did the freeze

It did the stroll right up to me

Made a noise with its feet that sounded like a drum

Said "You gonna be here when the morning comes?"

"Say yes, I'll be here when the morning comes

I'll be right here, I ain't gonna run

I bought this house, now I am boss

Ain't no haint's gonna run me off"

In my kitchen my stove was a blazing hot

Coffee was a-boiling in the pot

Grease had melted in my hand (pan?)

I had a hunk of meat in my hand

From out of space there sat a man

On the hot stove with the pots and pans

"Say that's hot" I began to shout

He drank the hot coffee right from the spout

He ate the raw meat right from my hand

Drank the hot grease from the frying pan

And said to me "You better run and don't be here

When the morning comes"

Say yes I'll be here when the morning comes

I'll be right here now, I ain't gonna run

I bought this house now I am boss

Ain't no haint's gonna run me off.

Posts: 91 so I tried gay sex today, never tried it was bicurious, let me just say one thing, the guy was into me totally he thought I was hot, because I am, but regardless, I am so traumatized and will never try that again, I'm struggling to even eat now. I always say try things just once, I know I am not bisexual, I am straight, I'm having bad flashbacks in my head still like I just left a war zone

Wow, in his own words...who knew?
