Well, it's not as odd as it sounds, and as odd as this sounds I've actually had classes and training on the subject.
Alright, let's take this space to clear up a couple of things.
Transgendered (if you follow your latin roots) means someone who is transitional in their gender identity. They were born one gender, but they choose to live as another. They can't change their genetics, but some opt to have operations which may include breast augmentation or gender reassignment, but that's not necessary to be a transgendered individual.
Drag Queens are gay males who dress as women. They are not transgendered because they are choosing to live as a gay male, not as a female. Likewise the same thing goes for Drag Kings, the female version so-to-speak.
Crossdressers are individuals who are not necessarily gay or bisexual. They may even be straight. They simply choose to wear the clothing of a gender opposite to theirs and do not opt to live a lifestyle of an opposite gender.
Some people use the terms “shemale”, “he-she”, or “tranny”, but these are sometimes considered low-brow or possibly offensive. Like calling an Irishman “paddy” or a homosexual a “fag”. It's not always a good idea to use those terms in all situations.

Well, I'm sure there are people that have their own definitions or terms, but I try to use common unbiased ones.
