So, as the festive holiday season approaches, a time where we should reflect back on the year, and be thankful, what and who is it that you're thankful for???
For me.. well, let's see.. I have my lovable and kiss hungry bird ( a cockatoo ), a loving wife and her bird ( not as lovable..), and yes.. a lover who's also very hungry..
Beyond that, I'm thankful for my good health, solid job, nice home, and peace of mind... I just hope the coming year holds the same promise of good things to come..

Admitably, my year hasn't been so great. In fact, one of the worst I've had. But I am thankful for a wife who is not only intelligent and thoughtful; not only one of the true people who understands the person I am, but who is still by my side, solid as any day that we've been together.
That's my true measure. Anyone can sat they're thankful when times are good. It's when things are at their worst and you still have someone who you can count on that much that prooves life is a good thing.

Amen brother... that was the previous year for me.. real trying.. but I had the support to get through, so I fully understand.
Soooo.. it looks like this was your bad year, and congrats for getting through it, now time to work on making the upcoming year one to be proud of !!!

Yea, animals have that ability eh? My cockatoo has a real knack for giving me her "cute look" and making a lot of the bad things she does not seem so bad.. Well, there is a limit.. biting through power cords, destroying computer mice, etc... but they are great companions. And well, I'm in for the long haul. My little girl ( my cockatoo ) is not even 10 years old yet, so she has a good 70 years left in her...

Yeah, I know what you mean almostinnocent. We have two cats in 2bedroom apt. If I had my way, we'd have more. When I come home from work one or the other is waiting for me and when I go to bed one keeps me company while the other keeps Dom company while he's online. They've made a big difference in our life together.

Heheh.. yea, most animals can keep secrets, but it can become an issue if you own a parrot that can talk... Thankfully mine doesn't know how to repeat some of the things she hears..
( funny though, but our other parrot has mimiced my wife snoring..)
Kills me every time !!!
