Do parents have the right to circumcise their infant boy? Or should the child's foreskin be left intact and let him decide?
Myself, I think it is genital mutilation and should be made illegal.

Yes, I do believe parents should be allowed to circumsize their male infant. Considering that new studies indicate that un-circumsized men are more likely to contract STDs(due to infected vaginal fluid having more surface area to be absorbed by). In addition, uncircumsized men who work jobs where they are sweating profusely run a higher risk of bacterial infections beneath the foreskin.
When you add in addition that there is little to no empyrical(sp) evidence that circumcision causes a mental detriment to children, circumcision is best for the child. If you also look at the historical side, Persians, Jews, Egyptians, Greeks, and later the Romans all practiced Circumcision. All of the greatest civilizations circumsized their male children, in an age where things were done with the goal of improving survival(especially evident for the Jews, considering Diaspora), it was incorporated in their faith for good reason.

It does seem like the best thing to do. Kids don't clean themselves much and being "cut" is more sanitary.

I am an uncut male and I have never got an STD or any kind of infection. I clean it like anyone else would. In fact its proven those that are uncut feel more pleasure. I think either way is fine and no one should look down on either choice.

I'm uncut and very happy to have an uncut dick, besides.....if u r a clean person you should never get an infection. Even the ones that are cut can get std and infection. Its all about how clean you are.....but we do feel more pleasure and so do girls.

it's sad how many people still believe all the myths about circumcision. it's completely unnecessary.
i don't think i'd like my dick as much if i was cut. i'm sure masturbating can't be nearly as much fun either.
and to the girls that complain about how it looks, it looks the same as cut guys when you pull it back, jeeze all dicks look ugly to begin with anyway. i haven't seen a pretty one yet
