I don't think 13 is too young for a girl to masturbate. If a kid is discouraged to discover their bodies,and they're told its 'wrong' it will give them a skewed view of sex when they're older. Its probably better to sit down and talk than to make them feel bad.

I don't remember how old I was...maybe 10 or so and my Mom sorta caught me or at least figured out what I was doing under the blanket and I felt so embarrassed and humiliated that up until 2 years ago it was my dirty little secret because I was convinced it was wrong and I was bad for doing it. It took me 50 yrs to get past being made to feel I was a bad girl for exploring my own body. I say let kids alone...they'll ask questions when they're ready....answer them openly and honestly and never make them feel sex is dirty!

I was 14 when I had sex for the first time. And my gf was 13! And I was NOT her first. So I would say girls will start even younger than that. I watched my first porn and jacked off at 12..............complete with ejaculate.
So don't think 13 is too young for a girl. Especially if they mature faster then boys.

I agree with those believing sex at any age (without adult involvement) should not be criticized. I'd go farther and say if the child is 'caught' pleasuring himself/herself, the act should be praised.

My best friend at work confided in me, somewhat sadly, that he and his wife heard moans coming from their 12 year old daughter's room. Women USUALLY start their first period(marking puberty) at the age of 13 , ASSUMING that there are no other complications. a woman maturing 3 years (on average) faster than men,(that gap closes in the mid 20's) it is no suprise that the girl is experimenting. DO NOT chastize the girl. THIS CAN VERY EASILY CAUSE A FETTISH. No, im not kidding. a fettish is CAUSED by the Fear or taboo "ness" of something. It is something that MUST be present to be sexually aroused. If she MUST do it herself to get off. She will have MAJOR problems with guys mostly dealing with insecuity. It is natural anyway. let her do it. hell. I was 12 years old. Like many other girls. i'm sure, my first experience happened in the shower. I was washing that area when a strange but wonderful feeling happened. I don't know what age is too young but i do know that a girl I was suppose to be "going" with showed me how to touch her when we were both 10. She already had experince with touching herself and wanted a boy to touch it. we didn't fuck, just played, I guess her mom hadn't showed her about fucking yet.
