I agree with the last two women I would think its better to have a partner with a little personility and charter . so that you could enjoy other activities when you are done with sex a little compatibility goes a long way .

Compatibility leads to Sex . . if lucky . . GREAT Sex . . and Great Sex is a Strong Bonding agent in holding a good, compatible Relationship together . . !!! Size matters when it matters to BOTH . . because . . * Its not the Engine . . it's the Engineer ! *

We've gotten way off track here...
My original question was do smaller dicks maintain erections longer due to less friction?
The age old debate about size is just a great attention getter when you just ask "dies size matter?"
I was wondering if less friction meant longer lasting....

Well, not way of track...still related..but to answer your question, no, just because a guy's smaller doesn't mean he lasts longer and just because a guy's bigger doesn't mean he doesn't last long enough. The reasons for that vary, and I would imagine, as a man, you would be more aware of those reasons than I would be.

In truth I'm only aware of myself... my strengths and weaknesses lol...
I think between two or three blogs and several similar threads to "does size matter" though we had that covered... hence my statement off track....
It is easier to start a new thread on a related topic than to try to steer one in a different direction I find.

The question was about size in relation to whether or not it would last longer because of friction or the lack thereof; therefore, all comments in this forum are relevant.
Friction (as relates to size or anything else) has nothing to do, necessarily, with how quickly or slowly a man has an orgasm. I hope that answers your question.

Okay, my dear, I'll say this one more time. Friction (AS IT RELATES TO SIZE) has nothing to do with whether or not a man lasts a long time or not.

i dont' think size has anything to do with how long a guy lasts...it sure doesn't make a difference as to how long i orgasm! Me, i don't want some guys long cock banging my cervix, but i do like that stretched out feeling a thick cock provides. But to be honest, any size works for me...tho i'd probably not like real big or real small...but then again, haven't run across those yet. i think guys worry too much about the size of their cock...it's what you do with it and how you use it that matters to me.

I think I kind of understand what toofunny is trying to say...
Granted, a male orgasm is caused by friction. Right? We all agree on that. Same with a female orgasm...
However, how long a man lasts is more about control... and less about size.
If I'm misinterpreting your words...let me know...

Precisely. The question had to do with whether or not size made a difference (the premise being if he's smaller he feels less friction; therefore, he lasts longer).
And I said that that has little to nothing to do with it.
Depends on control...and various other factors, among them possible illness, drunkenness, tiredness, and other physical and psychological factors. You men know what I'm talking about, right? Different results occur at different times in different ways for different reasons.
So...no, size does not matter one bit. Not to me, anyway...UNLESS..he's "freaky big or "freaky small."
The size of his heart is what matters most anyway.

And one of my personal favorites...
"I can go for hours and hours."
With very few exceptions from my much younger days, "Oh no, you can't." I can. Yes, it is unusual from what I have read and heard. I'm glad my girlfriend likes to go for a couple of hours at a time. Of course she can take a break whenever she wants. She keeps saying she has never met anyone like me....and she loves it.

I was just thinkig about the girth vs length question. I can't remember my geometry well enough, does anybody remember how to calculate the surface area of a cylinder. Does girth or length contribute more to total surface area (and thus indirectly to friction) or all they all being multiplied by the same numbers. I guess, in trying to write the rest of this post, I came up with the answer to this question. Girth would give more total friction than length. Can anyone prove or disprove this? Of course the friction thing is really relative. I've only felt friction that comes along with my (average) sized member compared to the various vaginas that I've been in. If you are a huge dude, you become used to a certain amount of friction, and vice versa. Though it does seem that the greatest factor would be experience.

Different strokes...no pun intended. Okay, pun intended.
But yikes! If my guy lasted "a couple hours," I'd wonder what was wrong with him....or me.

Cyliner (geometry)
I think the volume equation would be a better one to use.

^^^ Both use radius sqaured, so either leads me to the same conclusion. As a cocks girth increases the total volume & surface area exponentially, and length only raises it geometrically, at a point that's realistic (probably, I haven't done the math on this to confirm), a man with a short, thick dick is going to have experience more friction than a man with a long pencil dick. Which agrees with common sense as well. As for how this translates into what the respective members "feel", that's an altogether different subject. Can't say anybody has ever addressed the way the nervous system is wired down there, in any class I've taken. Still I hold that the individual in question has only experienced the pleasure that their prick feels in the various pussies its been in. So, experience and self-control should be the biggest factors in the matter of who lasts longer. PS I got to apply geometry to a question about sex. Nerding out while perving rocks! I should tell some high school math teachers about this, may be a good way to get their students to pay attention.
