I read an article online the other day that said realistic robots were being developed that people would be able to have sex with. Do you think that people will actually do this? How much would you be willing to pay for a realistic sexbot?

With the advances in Robotics that are going on today I can see this being a real opton in the future. Wouldn't be great to have your every fantasy fulfilled, and sleep each night without feeling guilt or anything else.
If your wife of signifigant other isn't in the mood, or is physically incappable of the act, or if your simply tired of having to negociate sex every great once in a while.
The robot would have to be completely "Friendly" to program and use, but Sure, I'd give it a go. At that point I would turn the computer off and pay attention to the complete home entertainment center that this robot might represent.
No bitching, whinning, gripping, headaches, backaches, menstral cycle, cramps or excuses.
