It all depends how honest both parties are with each other. I am not interested, myself, in slap, wollop, bang, thanks, bye. If sex is to be more than just spitting via the penis there has to be a connection of some kind.

I definately have to like the person. I just can't be one of these guys that will "nail anything with a heartbeat" (what movie is that from?). I have never had a one night stand, but if I did I would like to know if like the person first. I think if you like them, it would just make it more enjoyable.

Clearly some sort of a connection is needed. Yes I would have to honestly like them, and have a feel for who they are, before anything happened. Otherwise it's seems cold and impersonnel. amd I can do without that.
I think most men would want a connection of sorts, and someone who is not simply there as a sperm repository.

The chemistry must be right, at least for me. Being that I truly revel in touch, taste, tease and just plain wickedness which slowly leads up to the act itself, easy enough to see that would be impossible without it. Someone once said "Sex is 90% mental." I took that to heart and found that the teasing and the anticipations are so incredibly delicious long before you get to the physical delights.
Just my opinion, but sex without a connection, you might as well go pay for it somewhere. At least you will get your monies worth. ;o)
