Before feeling sorry for yourself. Imagine being a very warm, caring, loving, friendly, thoughtful, intelligent, kind, funny, and playful person of fairly good looks As I was until I started gaining weight in my thirties and not having sex for the first time until exactly 3 months to the day prior to your 27th birthday and then only having sex with that partner on three occasions over 10 days. Then six months later having a one night stand with a new partner and three years after the one night stand receiving oral sex once and then going more than 10 and 1/2 year without any sex at all simply because a tiny part of the brain that normally develops in toddlers and children that learns to read body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice and which eventually is also used to (sometimes subconsciously but always) intentionally choose your own body language, facial expressions and tone of voice to successfully convey the feeling or affect that best matches the words you're speaking and the social situation you are in.
That is the true story of my life. If I could have sex once every two months from now when I am just past 40 years and nine months old until my sixtieth birthday, I might not be satisfied with my sex life but I'd be incredibly grateful for the sex life I'd be having!
So those are the facts vacts of my life. 26 but far closer to 27 upon losing my virginity. three night of passion with the first partner. Six months later a single night of passion with a different partner, and a little tit play and a blow job three years later. Then no sex now for more than 10 and a half years!
I hope no one else here has missed out on so much, but I work with people who anyone can tell have some kind of disability, yet they are still capable of forming consent as well as of both giving and receiving sexual pleasure yet they may only have sex once, twice, or three times in their whole life. Some of them never have sex from the day they are born to the day they die. From my work I know it isn't because they don't want to have sex or aren't intellectually capable of understanding the consequences of decisions they might make to have sex, with whom, and what sex acts they might engage in. It is just the prejudices of those who supervise their living situations, transport them for everything including social gatherings, etc... that prevent them from pairing up and enjoying themselves responsibly.
So while I think it is fun to compare how long it has been since your last sex, or how long was the longest each contributer has ever gone without sex, words like pain, hardship, or phrases like "I thought I was going to die," are just going too far. Going months or years without sex is unpleasant, unsatisfying, and even leaves people feeling like they have a deep need that is unmet. The most intense characterization of going a long while without sex that would be a fair characterization is to say "I really needed it and not knowing how much longer I'd have to wait was both frustrating and anxiety producing." Just don't think a number of months without sex is something painful like never having it or not knowing if you ever will for many long years or even a lifetime!
Dying without ever having had a satisfying sexual relationship is comparable to dying without ever having loved someone (other than your family) in a truly phychologically and emotionally intimate way. Having a "dry spell" needs much more moderate and modest langauge than the extremes!

I can't really tell how long it has been. My daughter was born a year and a half ago, mabe more. And I haven't had any since she was conceved. I have been close to it, but then I remember that the last woman that I loved left me for another man so. That and my ex-wife is the only woman that I have ever been really comfortable with.
