I have had three periods in my life when I have gone without sex for a long time. The first was for 5 years. The second was 8 and the last was 5.5 years. Currently I haven't had it for a week. I don't intend to go without for long periods again because I'm 58 now and haven't many years left. Contrary to popular belief, my sex drive hasn't lessened as I have got older.
