This is one of my pet peeves. I hate to hear that sex is fun, playing. I think anyone who thinks it is just fun is missing out on a WHOLE lot.
Lovemaking, to me, should be rapturous, ecstasy, and that is infinitely more than "fun" "playing".
Any feedback on this one. Do any of you feel the same?

Wouldn't this depend on the mood of the people involved? Sometimes it's playful, other times it's a sign of rapture between two people. Sometimes it's both.

I guess you're missing part of the point Class. "Making love" is great and can be a very rewarding experience. There's no doubt to that and I don't think anyone here is dismissing your feelings or opinion on that. All I am saying, and I think others here are trying to covey this as well, is that is can be fun and playful too. Like I mentioned before, I think there's a place for both in a relationship.

I've never understood why people say it's "fun". Fun is riding your bike fast down a hill or jumping in one of those big blowup balloons at the carnival.
Making love is intense connection, period. Fucking is hot eroticism. I don't see that it's...fun. The word should never be used to describe doing the wild thing. It just doesn't fit.
