Both guys and gals, please chime in on this one.
Seems to me that there is some sort of codes that go on with both men and women that distinguishs one over the other. What makes somone cute or hot vs. the other? Is one better than the other? (Yes, I know personal preference. Interested in the societal standard here as I'm considering plastic surgery.  )
And for the gals, is there some sort of "code" that would convey that a cute guy is not good looking? I suppose the same question could apply to the guys when it comes to decribing a gal.

I hate being called cute. Cute is for puppies. But if I'm not really interested in a guy, but he's a sweet guy, I'll tell him he's cute.
As for hot, if I tell you you're hot, it means that if I have my way, there'll be some fucky fucky in the future.

when i think of cute, it is kind of an endearing quality, kinda like what Sniffi is talking about. Hot is smokin, I wanna do the deed right now.

There are all sorts of people around here that are "cute". Sunny & Canu are just too cute... Argit and PK are just too cute... Sniffi and Colt have been just adorably cute all week...
Then there are people who are both hot and cute... TLC is hot AND cute... DeDe is hot AND cute... FieldAgent is hot AND cute... GryGoast is both hot AND cute. That list goes on and on by the way.
Then there is the list that's just plain hot... Ponme & Sxze are fuckin HAWT... looks and attitude plus they don't give a flying fuck what the rest of us think. Shadow163 is one Fuckin HAWT Texan... Trust me ladies... Even my icicle heart melts when I am around him. Bigcop is fuckin hot. Ynot is hot enough to turn Hell into a mere sauna...
For ME... "hot" is more attitude and "cute" is more about looks...

I agree - cute is all about physical appearance, whereas hot is about the entire person....great bod, great smile, great personality, great sex..(oops!)

I tend to agree with the masses. If a girl is funny, smart, is a good conversationalist but not overly attractive I can still be attracted to her cuteness. But if she has all the that plus she is really good looking..and holds herself a certain way..then she is hot. All the girls on this site so far...Smokin hot..Sniffi..Smokin the most though!!

So from what we've compiled thus far, cute is about endearing qualities and perhaps some looks too. Hot is about yummy looks and an "attitude".
