Other than finding different positions that control the depth of penetration, any other suggestions on how to make sex with a larger man pleasurable instead of painful???? The new bf is a little larger than I am used to. Not complaining, just looking for suggestions.

Good question Innocent! I just offer a suggestion: communication. If your relationship is deepening and growing, keep the communication honest yet sensitive. From a man's perspective on this, I'd have to say that verygood's reply is spot on. My ex-wife was very petite and had trouble with me. I agreed to go slow when I was on top, and she agreed that she'd do any vigorous stuff while she was on top, obviously controlling the depth while doing so. We mutually agreed that doggie was out of the question as it was far too uncomfortable for her. Of course this will depend on your preferences and your state of arousal too.
To add to this, I might suggest trying a number of other postions too. Spooning worked well for me with her and a few other women. I didn't notice that I wasn't in all the way, and it seemed as if the woman was more relaxed this way. I'm sure you can find others positions too. (That position was obviously just one suggestion.)

Thanks guys. We have only had sex twice so far and he has been very good about not driving too hard. So far the best positions I have found are missionary with his hand holding up my hips. Something about the angle allows for full penetration without pain and spooning. I'm sure we will find some more  Hell, I'm just happy to be getting some

Okay, I'm not exactly a small guy. I'm about 6' tall and 260 pounds. 52" chest and 38" waist (working my way back down to a 34). You might consider taking the top. Or something that I do is I support my own weight while I'm on top. The LAST thing I want to do is crush someone.
