Giving has just been something that I enjoy immensely without saying that one is better than the other. I'm fine if a lady isn't much of a giver herself or just isn't great at it, but my giving has to be a part of it for me to enjoy.
What has been surprising for me after my long marriage ended is how many women actually were not used to receiving and had to warm up to it.
