Posts: 10 Up till August of last yr I had never posted to one. Since then I have found them to (at least for me) be a way to share many things. Be it my daily life, items related to various interests of mine, or simply a way to vent frustrations that may arise in life.

Over the past several months I have begun to post more and more blogs on several sites most of which I suppose you might say are site specific. Take for instance when I am posting about my efforts in animal rescue or the success stories of babies I have placed or my frustrations with animal control laws, AKC regulations or even heaven's forbid the constant frustrations of trying to be polite and respond to even the most unsuitable of fellers on sites such as this who have not taken time to read my profile.

Would I post here about the baby I have been trying to place for a friend who has had to give up his pets after a yr and half of hell starting with the murder of his daughter? Not realy after all this is a site about people connecting to people not looking for a pet. Would I post about artwork on a site dedicated to rescuing animals? again no for it is not the right forum.

But if I am posting on the site for rescue animals I will post updates etc on some of the babies I have placed etc. On a site dedicated to art I might post about my most recent commision. Here I am likely to post about just what happens (or does not happen) here that is related to adult relations.

Shoot me if I am wrong but aren't we all supposed to be adults?

Would that not imply a certain amount of education and/or ability such as to read and comprehend? Are we not past the picture books here? So why is it that some feel if I post in my blog about my frustrations over behaviors on this site I should be criticized for saying what I think and feel?

Is not a blog basicaly the equilivent of a diary but only public to a large degree?

Maybe there is a reason why so many post in blogs and forums about the failure of the unwashed masses to actualy read a profile and essay? If so I would like to know what that reason is.

Any comments?

Posts: 3,356 Everything you just said is dittoed back.. Then there is AMD. Most web-sites bloggers have control over their blogs visibilty, be it public, friends only, subscribers only or completely private. Here on AMD the blogs are out there for all to see. It didn't take some of us original founding pervs o realize this, and use them as a way to put ourselves out there..

Well heres what has happened in a nutshell, the forums fell apart due to lack of stewardship, so people began posting forum fodder in the blogs, couple that with the broadcast style blog format, people like me with big yaps getting preachy, we pissed a few off, they started creating fake profiles to launch bitch brigades ... other myself included fired back and douchebaggery ensued.

I would rather blog about these topics in this order

humor (I mean my original humor)

My love for Sunny ( seems strange to put that at number two but we are talking blogging not everyday life)

Music related things

educational stuff

erotic stories when I have time

bitch slapping tollz its last

Are the ones criticizing you the ones behaving in the manner you remonstrate against?
