I agree, youfirst pa. It's about the same for me. I suppose it has to do with general health and such, but also it's a lot of practiced control. On Penn & Teller's Bullshit this last season (I don't remember which specific episode, but I think it was the celibacy one) and on other programs like Real Sex, experts reccomend masturbation as a means of practice. Trying to hold off and keep hard for as long as you can. It takes time for some people to learn.
But if that isn't the case for you personally, take heart: According to Kinsey or Masters and Johnson, the average length of a sexual tryst is about 4 minutes, the average length of of orgasm: three seconds or so.

Most porn stars take breaks during the takes. If you ever watch the DVDs with behind the video clips they take little breaks so they do not cum yet. And many porn stars take drugs. personally my best is a seven hour stint without a break, and i usually last an hour for a 'quickie'. i actually can't last a shorter amount of time than that =/
but i haven't had any of this practice stuff, it just seems to be genetics as to how long a guy can last. just like penis size is genetic.

As Dominus said it takes practice. In my case I have had way too much self practice. At times it takes too much time and stimulation to finish, so sometimes I don't. Most men think it would be great to stay hard and go for hours, but most women don't want a man to last for hours without him ejaculating, makes most of them feel tired inadequate and frustrated. If you don't cum for 3 or 4 days there can be a large increase in volume, and it's probably of a thinner consistensy. Well, that's my personal experience, your's may be different. Maybe also drinking more fluids may help. Hmmm... that's the first time I have heard that about celery.
