I've talked to quite a few on this site but they all seem to up and go quite fast, the ones that stay seem to be here more for the forums and fun then looking to hookup

I have found that more men are looking for cyber sex than anything else. I don't think more than a handful at most are looking for a serious relationship

Kinduh boils down to an analogy of economics. High quantity low demand. Like L2L said. That puts women in the 'pick and choose' seat while you, quite frankly, become desperate. It's really much easier just to walk up and talk to a woman than it is to find one on the Internet in my opinion. Unfortunately, I live in a small town area where the type of girl I like either doesn't exist, or isn't socially acceptable. Otherwise, I consider the net a horrible self esteem beating place to look for a girlfriend. If you're just looking for sex you might wanna just try local hookups.

I've met men on here. Personally, the "regular" dating web sites are a disappointment. Don't kid yourself. The majority of those men are just looking for cyber sex or hookups. But for whatever reason, they seem way less apt to contact women unless they meet all of their criteria. Also, I don't have a pic posted on here or another one I use that is a regular dating site, but the men here are way more likely to write to me and ask if I have a pic. Why is that?
I will write back to anyone who writes to me on here. However, personally, I am not interested in what you would do to me if you weren't 15,000 miles away. It's not that I won't chat or IM about sex, but I prefer normal conversation as well. I don't like it when someone hounds me for my phone number or can't take a hint that I'm not interested in taking it further. That just gave me an idea for another post!
I think there is plenty of boyfriend/girlfriend material on here. Every bit as much as on those other sites anyway.
