Manwithoutahorse is right. I'm an avid SPAC concert go-er and getting any kind of meeting place in the general area during race season will be prohibitive due to cost and bookings.
I'm groovy to go anywhere, but I'm not sure what my gigging schedule is like that day. Will find out!

There are some places south or west of albany that may not be too expensive that could be fun. Especially if we took over the place. How far outside of albany would everyone be willing to travel? half an hour? hour? hour and a half?

the corning preserve has a nice picnic area long the river in albany as well as a place called the barge that serves food and drinks - and parking isnt an issue either AND it'd be FREE...just a thought!

Good thoughts. I'm not familiar with the area, but that only means a new place for me to explore. Might mean a little more planning, but hey, a good time is worth planning.
