I think the problem is two-fold:
1) Some people (no names mentioned to protect the idiotic) make ridiculous comments that are so cheesy they are laughable.
2) Most other people (judging from forum posts and picture comments) have only the barest grasp on English language, spelling and grammar.

I have to admit it, but yes, Jersey is lagging behind.
I come here now and then because I'm originally from North Jersey and I hope to see things pick up, but it never really seems to. Other states are just as weak, but quite a few have good, strong posts.
People start up games, debates and jokes in the other forums. Here...all I see is hesitation.
C'mon! Jersey is one of the best states in the Union. It has tons of stuff to do and some of the most bizarre histories. Sure, a lot of movies are made in California, but more movies have New Jersey as their setting than a lot of other states. It's an industrial and agricultural powerhouse despite it's small size. There's always interesting politics there.
So why isn't anybody in New Jersey posting with any gusto? Has someone swiped the state's big brassy ones since I left?
Take a look in the other main forums and get a few ideas! Kick some ass and take some names!
