Some of us have no choice. I'm diabetic, I have to eat almost no food for a day to be able to save up enough carbs to drink... not really worth it *shrug*

Meh, it's give or take with me. I'd live without ever being drunk again... but I do enjoy a couple of cocktails every now and then.

Wow...I've been inactive on this website for ages...come back...and find this thread :)
I love beer. I love drinking.
Drinking = wild untamed sex
Love it.
My new years resolution (one of them) is to only drink on major occasions...ie. holidays, birthday, super bowl, etc.
So damn.
But for the record...

I hate to be the pain in the ass on this but... I don't need alcohol to open up and have wild untamed sex. Im comfortable enough in myself and my desires to not need inibriation.
Plus, I've seen too many fuck and pukes to really want that to happen to me. And unless you're both wasted, beer/alcohol breath... NOT attractive.

Alcoholism is a real problem for many people so while I can answer lightly some folks have to take it seriously. I've lost friends and family to drunk drivers or alcoholism, so I can appreciate the good and the bad of this chemical.
I enjoy an occassional drink but I don't remember the last time I actually had one. I'm also a happy drunk..... So if I've been down for a few days a couple of drinks can break that mood and pick me up.  All things in moderation.

Whew! For the record...I do not need alcohol for wild untamed sex...hehe :) But I sure have seen it bring out the freak in a person!
And Ladie, I agree with you completely...there's nothing worse than a person innebriated beyond the point of realizing the stench of booze and ciggarettes spewing out of their slurred-speech-hole...generally talking six inches from your face...and yelling...hah
NewGuy, you're absolutely right about alcoholism, it's definately a problem. I for one (being a former marijuana user) cannot believe that alcohol is legal, and weed is not. I think I'm going to have to start a thread about that...
In any case, I still like to drink (yes, responsibly) when time/money will permit...it just seems I have less and less of each every passing day, heh.

Haha I'm with you Down. There's never enough time or money to do what we want to do. I go out probably once every other week. (what else am I going to do when my kid is at his dad's... sleep? HAH) But when I'm there I usually only have a drink or two. (Unless some poor sucker is buyin em then gets kicked out by my mom... SORRY B) LoL

Now I can't drink got put on probation today (not alchohol or drug related)
but nowadays thats just what they do.

If pot was legal I would probably whip up some brownies from time to time but it's not and I'm subject to testing at work so....I just drink.

Pot was never my thing. ::shakes head:: I just get sleepy and can't keep up with the conversation anymore.
I had other choice drugs for awhile. I'm so glad I'm out of that life now.
Drinkin for me, every so often.

Yeah I feel ya...I don't even know if I go out once every other week anymore...seems like it comes in spurts (no pun intended)...three weekends in a row (like recently...day before Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)...and then nothing for a month...I know what you mean though, sometimes there's nothing else to do! heh. I actually started playing hockey again, and I'm going to start taking guitar lessons to fill in those free moments. I feel better about spending my money that way, instead of destroying my liver :)
The reason I brought up that weed thing is, alcohol is so dangerous, and in so many ways....and in my eyes, marijuana doesn't come close. I'm gonna start a thread on that soon, I'm curious to hear people's opinions...
