shesh...I think this forum is dead. I knew that before the hurricane there wasn't a lot of action on the LA forums, but now it seems like what little there was has stopped...sigh

Dare I say ... most of the problem is that most of the people (in southern La anyway) are still reliving and retelling their storm nightmares over a year after the fact and wondering with extended hands who is going to rebuild their front door ... do it yourself, quit looking for sympathy or stand in line behind the people of Charleston, Wilmington (several years in a row), Cape Canaveral and most of Florida, and most of Mississippi coast. Get on with life and love, they have!
Of course, another problem with half of the southern Louisiana population, though high school graduates, can not spell or string three words together in a sentence and/or certainly couldn't type them on a "new fangeled" computer if they could! ... in my recent experience.
I've lived here for a year ... I'm moving to Texas!
Please don't take offense; anyone posting here is obviously not the target of my comments. They are the ones who couldn't possibly comprehend what I've said if they COULD read it!
With all that said, I MUST comment that the people of southern Louisiana are a very generous and caring sort of people. They're just behind the times ... generally speaking.

to olsalt300..........this isn't this only site that louisiana doesn't seem to respond to.......they seem to sign up and that is it......and this has been way before the katrina and rita storms.....I am not from here either and I would gladly move back to TEXAS if I could or anyother place that was with the times....and there is no offense taken to your post......but I am pretty sure that I am done with this site....good luck to all

Just wanted to say Hello,and I hate to say it,but us from Louisiana are quiet on other sites too,at least that I've seen. But I'm a new member here and I plan to make as much noise as possible. Love to chat and meet new people. So let's go people,make some noise.

For the most part I've found the same shit. Lot's of people talk a lot of it, but make no noise. If you e-mail them or wink, or what ever the F_ _ K, no one every replies. Why waste you hard earned dollars. Go get some ice cream!!!!

Ya know, that's a damn shame. I just moved back here after 6 years of being gone and was hoping to find a little action somewhere out there but I must agree, nobody ever seems to want to respond to any messages or comment about anything. It's a real disappointment. It's amazing that a place that I know to be full of wild party people is just so dead on here. So how about those of us who are making a little noise doing something about it?

ah!!! I have yet to find anyone in New Orleans that's up for anything, other then just being all talk. And I've only found a few people in Baton Rouge, everyone seems to be in Northern Louisiana. Sometimes I almost wish I could move back to Texas, or even back overseas...but only sometimes.
