Ok so this just pisses me off - and I just gotta vent here. If you are in INDIA or NIGERIA - or any where remotely outside of my local area, whats the point in contacting me ? If I specifically say no married and attached men then are all married and attached men STUPID that they cant read that main fact and still waste my time? If I say a certain age group then why do I still get stupid emails from people 20 years either direction? Cmon people stop wasting my frickin time and save yourself from getting a solid ass chewing and then you add to it and tell ME I need to lighten up ? No guys YOU need to learn to frickin read flat out simple
Above all I am too busy to come out here and read all the totally stupid replies that clearly show to me that you either havent read my profile or just dont have enough respect for me to honor any of it and in that case then I don't want to know you anyway.

They are getting more clever every day too. They will lie, and say they're in the U.S. when they definitely are not. One tipoff is when they give you a Yahoo or other provider email they want you to use to contact them. I won't respond to someone who doesn't want to correspond, at least for awhile, on this site first. It's a dead giveaway that the person is a scammer.

oh yeah I had a pissing contest with some idiot that said that to me and when I pointed out that he must not have looked closely since I dont have a picture he blasted me every which way but loose and wouldnt stop til I blocked him. But the ones that I really love are the ones that say Oh dear sweetness, I know what we are doing is wrong but I love you so ! oh BARF ! But I suppose that there are suckers born every minute - if you want to have a good laugh go join the yahoo group called romancescams
These people are hilarious, how anyone in this day and age can still get scammed out of money or any feelings at all is WAY beyond me.
Then to top it off, me posting this thread just brought out about ten nuts all under the age of 30 and across the country just to piss someone off.
But on a side note here, why in the hell do men (or women for that matter) post pictures of themselves over and over on their profile of them with women ? One old fart out here has around 6 pictures of him with women all with names of Russian descent and all 30 years younger than he is. Do people think that is impressive ? Hint here people its NOT ! Ok so that pretty much covers all my rants for the day, but I am sure I will remember more (or come up with new ones) sometime tomorrow

Actually I usually send a scathing but pat answer back, to the young ones I tell them to get a note from their mommy and then I might think about it. To the married ones I tell them to give their wives some peace and let HER be happy in her own life cause more times than not if the spouse isnt getting any then its because the other one is going elsewhere. Hell I jsut saw one out here that I highly suspect is a fake, its just too pathetic to be true, no sex for 26 years ? And then he comes right out and says he has a little dick, lol. Well shit at least hes truthful about it, more than I can say for my ex, but I still find it hard to believe that anyone has that pathetic of a life and states it all as such

We can't completely stop the stupid fucking male population... they sign up, log in and send wanna fuck style e-mails to everyone on the planet...
Report the spammers... if you need to go by my friend's list and e-mail the matchdoctor bear give the screen name.
Repeat the process for guys who are abusive, but forward the abusive e-mails as well. Do not engage them in a pissing match... Remember two things... you ladies are better than that... and it'll be the asshat that gets tossed off the site instead of ya'll.
This has been a p.s.a from the grumpy old reg that is finally putting his big boy britches and doing the stuff we need done.
Now someone e-mail me with the screen name of the racist.. I thought I knew it but it's gone...

Yeah the guys profile is a joke - he says that he hasnt had sex for 26 years, he suffers from extreme depression, he has been lied to over and over out here, he has had his tiny dick made fun of and on and on - hardly a profile that makes me want to jump right on it and send him an email - lol - If it ISNT a joke then the guy has some serious problems that reach way beyond being cured by being out here.

Tip off: Bad grammar,strange syntax or claiming to be an ex-pat in Nigeria and "needs a plane ticket home".
Another:Dear Beloved in Christ or I am a god-fearing blah blah blah,the first sentence opening the email and the second one anywhere in the email.There are "god-fearing christians" but not all would just keep announcing it.
Heres a good example:
I am Sonia Rosales i represent a Amadarose Inc modeling company, in London and we have selected this your portfolio for a Coca-Cola billboard advertisement.All we need is your approval,to enable us process your payment, no commission , no overhead costs , you just get payed for your pictures right away.Email your approval to (email removed)..

Set your mail filters you can filter out most unwanted mail.. Mouse over the word mail in the nav bar.. click settings and custom tailor the filters to cut down on spam....

One other note: a lot of those people aren't anywhere near Nigeria, or London, etc. They are here for one reason and one reason only -- to try to scam you out of your money. They couldn't care less where you live, what you look like, what you're looking for or, for that matter, who you are. All they want is your money! And they will tell you anything they need to in order to get it.
I was listening to the radio not long ago and they were discussing dating scams and some woman admitted to giving the guy something like $35,000 because she fell for the "I have a son who's going to die if he doesn't get an operation soon" b.s.
She said, "I don't understand how I allowed myself to fall for it; I have a master's degree and everything!"
Yeah? Well, me either. How can people be so blatantly STUPID?? You know, these people would be out of "business" if their victims weren't so damned gullible. They prey on people with more "heart" than brains, apparently.
And another scam that offers a percentage of funds collected from the bank account of the late King Coconut BangBang Palmtree is one that a lot of people fall for. And what's the motivation for that? Greed. Nothing but pure greed.
And then there's the one that's used on men. The so-called "Russian" (or whatever) women..depicting pictures of "them" (which a) actually aren't them at all and b) are even possibly men). The women are young, gorgeous, alluring...and they all want to come to the U.S. because...(fill in the blank). They usually appeal to middle aged, unattractive, balding and...you guessed it ..horny guys who are stupid enough to think some beautiful young "thang" is going to want to even give him the time of day, much less anything else. Excuse for falling for it? An overstimulated ego and libido.
It's one thing to be taken advantage of because one is mentally incapable of knowing right from wrong and isn't able to defend himself from becoming a victim; it's another entirely for supposedly intelligent people to let their emotions or their greed cloud their judgment and allow themselves to be taken advantage of in this manner. I have very little sympathy for such people. They are the ones who keep this scam going.
It's our responsibility to stop these people. Block them, yes, but report them too.
And also spread the word about them. I am amazed at how many people apparently think these are "regular" people whose motivation for being on a dating site is to find "true love," especially when their line of bullshit is so transparent even Stevie Wonder could see right through it.

I have to laugh... I got an email the other day from some "19 year old daughter of..." sheesh... I don't know. The usual routine is that her father, some Oil Baron (or Rice Baron or pick your favorite) was killed. In the meantime, he conveniently managed to put $20 mil away in a secret bank account that she will share with you when you sponsor to come to the USA.
Well folks, I didn't fall off of the coconut tree yesterday. I did have fun with some "model" that lived in the next town over wanting to hook up when she came back from her African photo shoot. I wish I'd transcribed my Yahoo chats. I think I was more imaginative than "she" was... since I'd retired and was spending time with my servants flying around the world on my private Jet. (rofl)
These scams will always be here... and they will get more creative as time goes on. Just remember the rule: If it sounds too good to be true, it is! They prey on your greedy-ness and your horny-ness.
