Then she'll be treated to a night of dancing, dining, drinking and partying until the wee hours of the morning of the 26th. Then, we're going home, and she's gettin' it.

I suspected that this question might be asked. The dress is on her, and it will likely cost more than the spa. Decent Mardi Gras ball gowns from reputable local makers start at about $600. The krewe throwing the ball pays for the food and drink.
So she's just getting pampered, and it's worth it for me to see her looking like a cool million.
We're both looking forward to it.

What is offensive about that is not that she's "getting pampered," it's that you're obviously bragging about it. "Ooh, look at me; look what I can do." And not only that, you're not doing it for HER; not really. You're doing it for yourself, so that you can "adorn your trophy," as it were...and then, to reward yourself for your efforts and monetary contribution, you bragged about how you're to get yours when you get home.
The way you talk sure doesn't seem like you're doing this for a woman whom you care for and respect so you want to give her gifts; it seems like you're doing this to decorate your "bimbo"...all in the name of making YOURSELF look good and, once again, ultimately getting what YOU want.
But I don't think you're doing this on "purpose," so to speak.I truly don't think you have learned how to treat women with respect and treat them as your equal.
Equal? Did I say equal? Ha! To hell with that. I don't want to be treated as though I'm your equal; I want to be treated as though I'm BETTER'N you!

Some people just stop at nothing to get theres... See, there's a difference between taking a girl out for a fun time, and just emptying your wallet in a silly way just to get laid. See, doing the former would include a simple date, where you two just have fun to have fun, at most a good eighty dollars would be spent on the date to show a girl a good and decent time that she'd enjoy as well as you. But once you hit the 400 > dollar mark, you seem--no. You are desperate. x_x; And I don't mean to just up and call you out on this, but you're leaving yourself vulnerable to people doing so and you just need to stop before it gets worse, man. Cause, right now you're not winning yourself any points and you're looking like the pathetic kid who goes to a kissing booth with fifty bucks in his hand and a video recorder for good measure; in case anyone doesn't believe he actually got kissed.

Just to bring the no-accounts and men-haters up to date...
The Christmas Party / Mardi Gras Ball babe wants to return the favor, and is offering to spring for air fare to her parents' place at Kittyhawk, where we'll have the whole place to ourselves for a week.
Whatever shall I do?
