On my way to see family on the gulf coast, I was rocked by a small earthquake, and greeted by a Cat 5 hurricane (Katrina). I then spent the next 8 months helping with the recovery.

How little anyone knows of me.
Every man says that they aren't afraid or "oh yeah? this, this and this has happened to me". Of course the elements and society won't hurt you, but if its someone you care about, it hits a little close to home...like your heart.

'Splains why I'm "perma-single". So many people exploit what love is, including my flawed self, so why bother? 
Of course anyone who wants to try me is welcomed to, but I won't make it easy for them. Plain and simple.

You haven't met my ex...  And I was with her for a while. I think I would be more afraid of an even tempered woman. It's the quiet ones that kill you in your sleep... or worse.... cut your pecker off.
