Ever thought you'd be better born 40 years sooner? |

So im 27, getting older by the day and yet still young. I guess old enough to have done it all, young enough to still do it. But what is it about being forward these days?
I had a lot of friends on here tell me how when a guy messages them its usually just straight in explaining how they wanna do this bla bla, rip off their boxers and get on cam and jerk off in someones face that theyve never met. Sometimes i wonder if they realise probably 50% of the pics on this site are fake, not to mention some profiles.
Personally i prefer to know someone before i jump in and explain things id like to do etc.. i mean, what if theres no connection? Dont get me wrong im all for beneficial friends, but theyre hardly "friends" if you have nothing to speak about.
Thats why i guess i feel i shouldve been born 40 yrs earlier. It seems back then you actually had to do something other than rip off your boxers and show it all on cam. There was some thought you had to put into what you would say to a girl.. dont get me wrong, that still goes on in rl... although not with everyone. I think we've all been to a club or bar when you just see people so forward you wonder how on earth they pull in the first place!
Maybe im old fashiond, or old before my time, but shouldnt a guy try to impress a girl with words before flesh still? Or is that a bit old skool?

The blogs and now here? Okay Sor.. Seriously I'm not bashing you here.. but at 27 I can't see how you could possibly be old enough to have 'done it all'. Okay, so you are a guy who respects women and isn't just the typical "hey you, wanna fuck" variety of the male species.. to which I say kudos to you! So whats wrong with being 27? When I was your age I couldn't imagine wanting to do or be anything else.. Now that I'm 45, well I revel in it. I'm having a hard time following why you are posting this. If you are into as you say old skool romance.. then why not write about that?

To paraphrase Britney... Still a boy, not yet a man.
Okay, not exactly fitting since 27 is old enough to have been around the block. But I am in your corner and I think most of the women around here will be too. Just because showing respect may be a dying art it doesn't mean being respected isn't highly appreciated and preferred by the majority.
The Joe Boxers of this world may get a lot of action in this world, but you will have the privilege of being rewarded with more meaningful relationships.

Yes sometimes I do think that I would have been better off being born 40 years ago, or even 20 - in an age where most men respected most women. I can not say that I do not enjoy modern technology and considering my career is based around it I'd be pretty broke without it - yet sometimes I think it does more harm than good.
Welcome to the world of internet "dating" if you want to call it that. Here you will find men saying things they would NEVER think of saying to a woman if they met her in public.
I get what you are saying and yes there are many women who find a respectful man a major turn on - a lot more so then someone that is forward and vulgar before they even ask her name (yep I am one of them). So keep trying to impress with those words (non sexual ones) and I bet you will land yourself a catch - and great sex once you get to actually know her that is ;)

If you're disapointed that Chivalry is dead, blame the feminists! There are still plenty of noble men around, but there is nothing more irritating than a high maintenance Prissy.
What happens is, women want to be independent but then get all emotionally analitical and pissed off when their man doesnt volunteer to do things for them. Its called hypocracy!
ps - ...and its only fair to mention that males can be hypocrites too. But the fact is, "a man is what his mother made him".

Sylvan, Sylvan, Sylvan.............how many times do i have to explain it to you..... ............being a feminist and doing our own things doesnt equate disrespect. I cant say that you have ever been that way....which is a good thing........i pull my own weight but dont want an opening line of "wanna fuck?" ........lucky you that you do have something interesting to say most of the time.

Ive had some fun in my single life too, but I have to admit that I have always been more of a home body and have wanted to partner up and build a future, instead of doing all the building on my own.
But I dont regret my decisions after seeing the bullshit that friends have gone through. And there are others who are happy, so I'll just keep kickin' along and keep an open mind.

I think we have to back further than the sex crazed 60s and 70s during the free love era (oooh those were the days, hardly any STDs) and perhaps think of 1950s if you really want to think of "dates" such as he's describing. After all there was a heck of a lot of shacking up after that, especially in my neck of the woods, lol.
