Yes we met in a neutral place. Let's just put it this way.........it was uncomfortable. He wasn't as into me in person as he was online.

Sweet that happens a lot I think... from both sides. Chemistry plays a big part.. and you really don't know how that will pan out until you are face-to-face.

One time just didn't get into each other as much as we had online and it fizzled out, and another time we were FAR more into each other in person than online.
So yeah, I guess I'm in the whole "meeting face-to-face in public" thing.

I have and its been fantastic. Made some great friends. lovers and just all around great people. All I have to say go for it, you have nothing to loose.
In fact I have had ladies fly in and its been a great time. All I have to say its about time a site like this helps the people that are open and honest and know what they want.

My problem is I have to find the time. Usually a place where we can talk and then know we are attracted and go for it. Usually by the time we meet, we have talked on the phone and we know what we want and need. Married ladies that get away for the weekend amazes me !!!!!!!!!! But if you can go for it !!!!!!!!!!

I have never met anyone from online. Guys need to take just as many precautions as the women do. What if a guy is being set up to be robbed, car stolen, that kind of thing. I read alot into the way people chat, IM, or emails/blogs. It is amazing what you can learn about somebody by their writing style. After learning as much as I can about their personality and intent from their writing, I then need to talk to them, on the phone or over the net. I then can learn more from their tone and inflections when they speak. If I am still comfortable with them at this stage, I focus on the chemistry, so to speak. This is as far as I have gotten. If I were to go further, it would be a meeting in a public place, like other people have said, and more converstation to see if the chemistry is there. I wouldn't blame anyone for breaking it off at any point. We all need to be careful and not let our hormones do the thinking.

I have met a number of woman from sites. It always goes well. It's Perkins for the traditional iced tea. If things click it's either off we go to enjoy or it's set something up for later in the week. It's always been fun as well as an adventure. I have a met a number of "friends" where we have stayed in "contact."
To do something long distance....no thanks. If they or I aren't in the 100 mile operational area or they desire not to meet halfway it won't happen. If I'm traveling on business that would be the only deviation.

I've been online for about 10 yrs now and have met literally hundreds of people, male and female, in groups and alone. Haven't really had any BAD experiences, but have had a few that I left thinking... well, that was a waste of time, LOL
I met my ex husband on match.com.... I shoulda known better. I was living with Sunny at the time and distinctly remember telling her: "He's not Mr.Right, but he's Mr.RightNow." Too bad we had that condom incident and I ended up pregnant a few weeks later. Not that I am sad to have my daughter, but I think we ended up married because it was convenient and more or less the "right" thing to do, both being Catholic. Oh well, live and learn. Experience is a wonderful thing, it enables you to recognize a mistake much sooner the second time you make it!
I have met some TRULY INCREDIBLE people online, folks I'd never get to meet just hanging around my area, and for that, I am thankful for the internet!

Do we really need to go over that one again? You know I said I'd sneak you across. The Mormons still think I'm a good boy!
